Corrections Policy

Last updated

Satire exaggerates and invents on purpose, and we do not correct jokes. But we do correct mistakes.

What we correct

  • A wrong fact about the real event a piece is based on.
  • A wrong or missing label, source link or image credit.
  • An invented detail that accidentally describes a real person or organisation.

How to tell us

Write to us with the address of the piece and what you believe is wrong. info@fairlytrue.com.

How we mark corrections

Where a piece changes in substance, we add a dated correction note to the piece itself. A piece that should not have been published is taken down and the reason is recorded internally.
